Jason Williams, District Attorney & Former Councilmember At-Large, Endorses JP Morrell

Jason Williams, District Attorney for the people of New Orleans and former Councilmember At-Large, Div. 2, is endorsing JP Morrell for Councilmember At-Large, Div. 2.  

"We need bold, independent and progressive leaders that run towards our biggest challenges - not away from them. We need champions who lift up and listen to our communities and hold other leaders accountable. And as our next Councilmember At-Large, we need someone with the vision to change the direction of our city and the tenacity to make things happen. For me, that new leader is JP Morrell," said Williams.

Williams endorsement joins that of current Councilmember At-Large, Div. 2 Donna Glapion. Following a tradition of community-centric, independent leaders, JP Morrell is now supported by both the former and current Councilmembers for City Council At-Large, Div. 2. He is also the official candidate of the Democratic Party and the Independent Women's Organization, among many others (below).
