Fiona & JP Morrell Celebrate Defeat of Permitless Conceal Carry & Trans Youth Sports Ban

"Fiona and I made the trip yesterday to Baton Rouge to advocate against the Trans Youth Sport Ban and the Permitless Conceal Carry Bill. Our New Orleans Delegation in the Senate led the charge to defeat the Permitless Conceal Carry Bill but, unfortunately, the Trans Youth Sports Ban slipped through," JP Morrell stated. "Well, today our New Orleans Delegation in the House followed up by SPIKING the Trans Youth Sports Ban and sustaining the Governor's veto!"

"Today is definately a day of celebration and thanks for all the tireless advocates, like Fiona, that fought for equity and fairness.  Also, join me and Fiona in thanking our New Orleans Delegation (and a few friends from neighboring parishes) that did the work to get this right!"
