How can New Orleans be the most progressive city in Louisiana but have such a horrible track record promoting unions?
The City's failure to support our unionized sanitation workers (who went on strike in May of 2020) and the fact that hiring the lowest bidder on street construction has left us with projects done poorly, over budget, and past deadline are just a couple examples of why we need a City Councilmember At-Large, Div. 2 who advocates for unions.
